My keepsake mouse comes with button jointed arms and legs, a long tail, and a bow by her ear.
This mouse is made from Willow’s baby clothes. She has a beautiful collar made from the clothing, and paw pads made from tiny baby scratch mitts. The center of one ear is made from a vest with ‘Wednesday’ on, Willow’s day of birth.
Tilly Beau’s mouse
Next is Tilly’s mouse. She has soft pink velour arms and a white spotted velour face. So she is super soft
My last photos are of a mouse made as a bereavement keepsake. My customer asked for a cushion and a mouse to be created from a set of much loved nightwear. I do not make bereavement keepsakes any more but wanted to show this pair as it gives you an idea how lovely it can look to order a pair of clothing keepsakes.
You need to know…
Clothing needed
To make you a keepsake mouse from baby clothes I will need 8-10 babygros or an equivalent amount of clothing. I can work with any clothes from hats to cardies, to dresses, to socks and trousers. I say babygros as a guide to the quantity of fabric I need in order to make your keepsake. When you send me your clothes let me know if any particular item is really important to you and I will endeavour to place it in a position where as much of it as possible is on show.

One final word
Keepsake mice are created using the clothes that you send to me. They have button jointed moveable limbs and black plastic safety eyes. They are filled with polyester toy stuffing. Keepsakes are not toys as they cannot be CE tested and often have large areas of handstitching.
My keepsakes mice are made using a My Fabric Heaven pattern that I have added mouse ears to.
