Memory Bear – Taylor Bear

I’m so happy to introduce my new style of memory bear to the Messy Stork family – meet Taylor!! Taylor will look amazing as a baby clothes keepsake, or as a memory bear made with loved one’s clothing. Read on for this bear’s size and how many pieces of clothing I will need to make one for you.

I was inspired to design this new style bear by the old fashioned teddy bears that have their leg sockets set into their sides. So Taylor’s arms and legs are jointed (which means they can be moved), and then the legs are set into the hips which gives a different shape to the body compared to my other bears Charlie and Betsy.

Size

Taylor is 18″ or 36cm tall standing. Seated he is 13″ or 33cm, and he is 7″ or 19cm from front to back. He/ she has plump legs, slightly squared off arms, big paws perfect for embroidery and little folds sewn in the ears.

How many pieces of clothing?

To make you a Taylor bear I will need one adult shirt (or more items depending on what you would like included).

To have a Taylor bear made from baby clothes I will need clothing equivalent to 8-10 babygros. I can work with dresses, trousers, cardigans, skirts bibs and blankets. whatever you have that has a lot of memories of your baby’s first years associated with them.

Embroidery is included.
