👋 Hi and happy Tuesday!

I realised I haven't introduced myself for a while. So I'm Rachel the creator behind Messy Stork keepsakes, Messy Stork sewing patterns and also Biz Crafters Club.
.
So a little bit about each strand of my biz:
💛 I sew keepsakes from clothing that holds precious memories for my clients. My keepsake styles include bears, elephants, cushions and quilts.
💛 I write sewing patterns for other keepsake makers to use to create keepsakes for their clients.
💛 And finally Biz Crafters Club is my newest project. Here I share what I have learnt building my biz, in order to help new crafters starting their own businesses.

What would you like made from your child's precious baby clothes?

This first pic is big brother Zach's keepsake cushion. His dark denim dungarees were particularly important to his mum so I used them (with their pockets) on the front of his cushion.
Outfits with applique details that I can stitch across a couple of squares of patchwork give so much ENERGY to the finished design. Just look at Tigger bouncing!!

The 2nd two pics show how where Zach and his brother had matching or similar outfits I used them in the same place on each cushion. So the cushions have continuity... so their big and little bro outfits, their Christmas pjs and their car outfits 🚘

I'm so happy to share these pics of Stevie's quilt today...

The quilt includes treasured clothing from her childhood including a Christmas dress, a frilled swimming costume, lots of dresses and hoodies, and a minnie mouse sleeping bag. I really can work with any baby clothes you send me ❤
