This quilt is the 2nd keepsake I have made for @daniellelouisebound .
The first I made was the unicorn (you can see if you swipe right 👉)

The unicorn was a re-make. Made from clothes that had been made into a terribly poor keepsake by another maker.
.
All I can say is - please, please do your research before choosing your keepsake maker. .
If you would like to order from me I will take as much time as you need to talk through what you would like. .
I will treat your clothes very gently and send you pics during the making so you know what is happening. And of course if I am posting your completed keepsake to you it will be carefully wrapped & boxed and sent 'signed for'

This lovely quilt is backed with a duck egg blue brushed cotton fabric. So it is extra soft and stroke able 💕

It was made for @daniellelouisebound when she won a cushion keepsake giveaway before Christmas. She decided to pay the extra to have a quilt made to include both of her daughter's clothes.

I previously made her a unicorn so she knew my work and trusted me. I'll tell you more about the unicorn tomorrow 💕

I met so many babies too, some ever so small and some really big. My daughter was only 5lb 6oz born but is now quite tall for her age! .

I know how precious your child's clothing is to you. I always take utmost care with it and spend a lot of time working out how to balance the colours patterns and textures to create the most gorgeous looking keepsake.

Today tho I have done very little sewing because my daughter had an inset day. .
We've been doing drawing and painting at home this morning. And this afternoon we went swimming - we had the whole pool to ourselves it was fab!!

At 3.10 I'm off up to school to pick her up. Today's after school plan is soft play. Which I love but lots of parents loathe!! I love a hot coffee and a chat...
